Sandi Committed to Improve Passport Service in Jakarta

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno is committed to assist Law and Human Rights Ministry in improving passport application service in Jakarta by providing a place for the service.
We will collaborate with Law and Human Rights Ministry, especially Directorate General of Immigration to fulfill high demand in passport application
"We will collaborate with Law and Human Rights Ministry, especially Directorate General of Immigration to fulfill high demand in passport application," he said in Immigration Festival 2018 at Monas, Central Jakarta, Sunday (1/21).
According to him, passport application service in Jakarta is increasing day by day. Moreover, there are 2,000 applicants in this Immigration Festival 2018 though provided quota is only 1,600 passports.
Passport Request in N. Jakarta Goes Up"They have queued from 2 AM and 5 AM at Monas entrance. There are more than 2,000 people who want to apply for passports though we only prepare 1,600 passports," he mentioned.
He also added, all Jakarta Government assets could be used for passport application service needs in the future. Such as Public Service Mall which has opened the service.
"It is our duty to serve Jakartans. Thus we will give
optimal service," he expressed.Meanwhile, Law and Human Rights Minister, Yasona Laoly expressed his gratitude for Jakarta Government cooperation in providing passport service.
"We are very thankful to be able to use Monas area for this service," he said.
